Sage 300 v2022 is already enriched with many features for both desktop as well web screens and now with the release of Sage 300 v2022 Product Update 2 more valuable features as well fixes are released by Sage. In this blog, we are going to discuss on one of the fixes that has been released with the Product Update 2 for Sage 300 v2022.
New Stuff: Sales Order Line Bulk Update in Sage 500
As we all know, Sage 300 v2022 has enhanced the Order Entry screen with Set Location and Set Ship date functionality, you can refer to our below blog link for these features :

However, while adding these features on one of the button i.e. “Item-Drill (1)” gets overlapped which user can see on the OE Transactionsà Order Entry desktop screen when Ops Inquiry is active as displayed in below screenshot:
As per above screenshot, from prior versions of sage where “Set Ship Date” and “Set Location” functionalities were not available and user will be able to see said “Item-Drill (1)” button.
Below is the screenshot of Order entry screen from Sage 300 v2022 up to product update 1. As in below screenshot though the Ops Inquiry is activated, “Item-Drill (1)” button is not visible.
It can be confusing to the users using ‘Ops Inquiry’ frequently, as on Order Entry this “Item Drill (1)” button which were appearing on “Order” tab exactly below the order item details grid (as displayed in first screenshot) and provide information about the item in the order on selected detail line. This “Item–Drill (1)” button opens the Ops Inquiry IC Item Inquiry screen which provides plenty of information related to item and provides drill down for OE documents as displayed in the below screenshot:
With the release of Sage 300 v2022 Product update 2, sage has fixed this issue. Now, users are able to see this “Item-Drill (1)” button from ops inquiry along with ‘Set Ship Date’ and ‘Set Location’ features. You can refer to screenshot below.
Here, you can see that the resizing issue is fixed and the “Item-Drill (1)” button is now visible on the screen in between “Set Ship Date” and “Set Location” button.
