ERP stands for Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software, which is being used in every organization from department to department for its day to day activities and in an organization there are many department like Inventory management, Customer order management, production planning, shipping and accounting. In this blog we are going to discuss about Sales Statistics maintained for a particular year period wise in Order Entry in Sage 300.

As we all know that statistics is the numerical representation of data. Accounts use statistics to estimate usage, earnings, cash flows, and book value. Similarly, in Sage 300, the user has the option to check the sales statistics which are processed according to the period of the fiscal year. For this user has to navigate to Order Entry >> O/E Statistics and inquiries >> Sales Statistics. Please see the screenshot below.
After clicking on Sales Statistics below screen will appear.
In this screen, the user has to select the year for which he wants to check the sales statistics which can be retrieved by period. For a particular year-period, user can also check the number of orders, net quantity of goods sold, net sales amount and how many invoices have been processed during the period.
User can get the information related to cost for items ordered or cancelled orders. Also, user can check the total and average sales lost over a period of one year. Similarly, the user can check the number of invoices, credit and debit notes processed during the year. User can also view against which customer the highest and lowest volume of sales orders are processed. Other than this, the user can see the percentage of margin earned from sales in a year on this screen.
Note:
If the company supports multicurrency feature in Sage 300, then user has to select currency and likewise all the above figures will be displayed i.e. functional currency and customer currency wise.
