In this blog, we will be discussing on Setting up “Additional Cost” in Sage 300 which belongs to the Purchase Order screen. Additional cost is used while creating the receipt entry/invoice entry in PO Transaction. Additional cost is the cost which applies apart from the product cost which we have ordered. Like delivery charge, transport charge, packing charge (valuable product), mode of transportation of goods, handling charges, service charges etc. These are the things which are included in additional charge and which can maintain separately in “Additional Cost”.
Creating new “Additional Cost”
- Go to Purchase Order-> P/O Setup->Additional Cost following dialog will appears
- Now provide the value in Additional Cost (ID), description, Amount (chargeable by vendor), Proration and the Return Proration.
Note: For Non-Inventory Item No- Proration will be applied.
- Provide/Tag the value of Tax Authority and click on “Add” button.
- User have successfully created the “Additional Cost”
User can use this in P/O Receipt Entry screen and P/O Invoice Entry Screen in “Additional Cost” Tab.
