Purchasing is the act of searching the market to obtain the desired quantity and quality of goods and services at the least cost and at the desired time. Whether your business is new or old, you need to purchase some equipment or materials from vendors. So keeping their stock in written is a big task which is very easy for the user with the help of Sage 300. So to run a business, one has to keep track of the product purchased by the user during the year. So in this blog we are going to discuss how a user can access the record about purchased items purchased during the year.
New Stuff:- Customer Ageing Report.
Basically statistics is a collection, analysis, interpretation and presentation of masses of numerical data. In Sage 300 ERP, User have the option to check Purchased statistics which is process throughout a fiscal year period wise. For that, user have to navigate to Purchase Orders >> P/O Analytical Reports >> Purchase statistics. Please refer below screenshot.
After clicking on Purchase Statistics, following screen will appear.
In this screen, the user has to select the period of the year during which he wants to view the purchase statistics. Also the user can select the period according to the year. That is by selecting the period by year, the user can see the purchase statistics for the selected years in the selected period. After selecting year and period, click on print button. Please refer below screenshot for same.
So in the above report, the user can see all the purchasing statistics like for a particular year in a particular period, number of purchase orders processed, number of invoices processed against PO, total number of items purchased by the user etc. Also in addition to this, user can see the number of receipts, credit notes and debit notes which are process within selected years. Among all the receipts, credit notes and debit notes the user can see the largest and smallest amount, credit note and debit note along with the vendor number.
