Customizing the O/E Sales History Detail screen in Sage 300 to include additional columns that provide more details about specific Items is a great initiative. This modification has the potential to significantly improve the system’s usability and data reporting features. By adding extra columns, you can capture relevant information about the items, making it easier for users to track and analyze data related to the items. The additional information supplied by custom columns can aid in data analysis and decision-making.

New Stuff :- Customized AR Customer Transaction Report to show ‘Days’ difference between Transactions

We have customized the Sales History Detail screen further to include additional columns that might help users to keep track of the relevant information. This screen lets you drill down to source documents and view additional information, including serial and lot numbers and kitting item components where applicable. When users will get directed to OE Sale history detail screens, they will see the additional columns that are added, which can be populated with relevant data. This modification is made to current functionality without affecting the core system.

Following new columns are added in Sales History Detail screen.

  • Unit Cost – this column will show the costs related to manufacturing or producing each Item.
  • Unit Price – this column will show the cost or price associated with each individual unit of the Item.

The user will not be able to edit data in the additional fields. This will help to maintain the authenticity of data as the data is auto populated and need not change in the masters. However, depending on the requirements, this can be modified.
