New Stuff: Migrate PO Invoice (Detail) from Sage BusinessWorks to Sage 300 ERP
In our previous blog we discussed about migration of PO Invoice (Detail). In this blog, we will discuss about how Sage BusinessWorks Product Lines are migrated to Sage 300 ERP using GUMU™
Navigate through the below link to check the Product Lines in Sage BusinessWorks.
Modules-> Inventory Control -> Utilities -> Product Lines -> Maintain
Above screenshot will display Product Line ID named ‘ACCESSRY’ present in Sage BusinessWorks.
While converting ‘Product Lines’ from Sage BusinessWorks to Sage 300 ERP, we migrate data present in this into ‘I/C Categories’ and ‘I/C Account Sets’. JFYI, we convert ‘Sales Account’ and ‘Cost of Goods Sold account’ into ‘I/C Categories’ and ‘Inventory’ into ‘I/C Account Sets’.

Above screenshots shows, the converted Product lines from Sage BW into I/C Categories and Account Set of Sage 300 ERP.
Note: The master’s codes (i.e. Ship-To-Location, Terms Code, Item Number, Vendor Number, Account Number) displayed in above screenshots are mapped during migration. We used 0000 as default suspense account , we can set any account as default account as per the customer’s requirement.
After data migration from Sage BusinessWorks the field values of Sage BusinessWorks Product Line get converted with the following mapping:
