With the release of Sage 300 v2018 new enhancements and provisions in web screens as well on the classic desktop screens are introduced. In this blog we are going to discuss about the enhancement that has been introduced in Sage 300 2018 classic desktop as well web screen for the standard Tax tracking Report.
New Stuff: Greytrix Document Attachment for Sage300 cloud version 2017
To Navigate the screen you can refer to the below screenshots:
1. Classic Desktop screen : Common Services -> Tax Services -> Tax Reports -> Tax Tracking Report
2. Web screen: Follow the same navigation to access this web screen.
As you can see in above screenshot user is now able to filter the sales tracking report using “From” and “To” Document Date. This feature is not available in prior versions of Sage 300.You can refer to below screenshot for Sage 300 2017 classic desktop where user will be able to set the filter for only “As of Date”.
As you can see in the above screenshot, the only provision provided for “Report As of Document Date. So the report was printing data from the beginning till the specified date. Now the user is able to view the data for specific date range.
Kindly refer to the below screenshot which will demonstrate the advantage of document date range filter:
As you can seen in the screenshot above report has considered only transactions where document date is greater than or equal to specified from document date in range.
If we print this report with old versions of Sage 300 we will get the data from beginning till the selected date and user will not be able to get the data in specific date range. In this case users have to manually remove the old entries by exporting the same to excel. You can refer to the below screenshot with old version report:
