Sage 300 People has a feature wherein employees can upload an attachment while applying for leaves. As per the configuration system will give warning, allow or block the leave application. Below are the scenarios mentioned to achieve the same.
Scenario 1 :- If you want application to allow a leave to be applied without an attachment, but you also want application should give a pop-up warning message then the Severity field should be set as Warn as highlighted in the below snapshot.
Scenario 2 :- If you want application to allow a leave to be applied without an attachment then the Severity field should be set as Allow as highlighted in the below snapshot.
Scenario 3 : – If you want application to block a leave if attachment is missing, then the Severity field should be set as Stop as highlighted in the below snapshot.
Hence by following the above mentioned steps a company can make sure employees are attaching the supporting documents wherein applicable.
